Catechism in Nahuatl by Pedro de Gante

The first book printed in the Americas was a catechism in Spanish and Nahuatl, published in 1539. The title page pictured here is taken from a later work, the bi-lingual catechism of Pedro de Gante, the Doctrina Christiana en lengua mexicana of 1553.
